Double Mountain
Dry Cider 6.7% ABV (500 ml)
For this flagship, all-apple cider Double Mountain kept it simple using local fruit from their own Hood River, Oregon orchard. Newtown’s and old-world cider apples are pressed and fermented on a house yeast strain. They give the cider plenty of time to dry out and develop wondrous aromas of juicy pear, lychee, green fruit, and chamomile. It finishes tart, crisp, dry, and quenching, making it the perfect cider to toast the season with.
Union Hill Cider Co
Field Blend 7% ABV (500 ml)
Union Hill brings apple varieties together like a colorful family gathering this season. Field Blend, a true taste of Washington fruit, is a union of nine apples and three orchards. Ripe Granny Smith apples shine through in this year’s blend, which also includes: Honeycrisp, Fuji, Harry Master’s, Red and Gold Delicious, Cosmic Crisp, Snowdrift Crab and Bramley. Notes of green apple and lemon are abundant at the start, fading to a clean, off-dry finish.
Double Mountain
Little Spy 7.5% ABV (500 ml)
Borrowing a few techniques from the natural wine world, Double Mountain Little Spy starts with macerated American heirloom cider apples from Oregon’s Hood River Valley, their juice resting on the skins and seeds before pressing. This cider is fermented slowly at a low temperature to maximize the fruit’s nuanced expression, highlighting notes of citron, Riesling grape, and ripe pear. True to Pét-nat Style, any carbonation is the result of careful attention and a true handcrafted cider.
Western Cider
McIntosh Single Variety 6.8% ABV (500 ml)
Best In Show and Gold Medal winner at the Portland International Cider Competition, Western Cider brings you a balanced single varietal cider using heirloom McIntosh apples. These quintessential Montana apples are grown on gnarled eighty-year-old trees from one of the last plantings of the historic Bitterroot Valley apple era. Perfect for any occasion, this big sky country grown McIntosh is renowned for its vivid apple aromatics and tannic finish.
Schilling Hard Cider
Chaider 6.5% ABV (12 oz)
Schilling’s Chaider brings you cozy cheer from Seattle, Washington this winter. This spiced cider begins with fresh pressed Northwest apples adding a local, custom, proprietary Chai Tea blend, a collaboration with Kinglet Tea of Portland. A balanced infusion of warming spices marries with fresh fruit to create something semi-sweet and special. A crowd favorite, this unique, seasonal cider is perfect for sweater-weather and fireside imbibing, crafting cocktails or served hot with a cinnamon stick. The possibilities are endless!
Western Cider
Fat Robin 5% ABV (12 oz)
Hankering for a taste of summer as the chill sets in? Western Cider in Missoula, Montana combines Flathead cherries from Fat Robin Orchard and Flathead Lake Cherry Growers Association on Finley Point, with Northwest apples to create a sessionable cider bursting with classic cherry flavors. A drive around Montana’s Flathead Lake during summer brings sightings of the legendary Flathead cherry. Cool summer nights, long summer days, and glacial soils – combined with the magical “lake effect” make for cherry varieties with an incomparable sweetness and tang.
